I feel like I have lived a thousand lives in the space of a week.
I know that what I am about to say seems like a lot, but it is the truth, my truth: this surf camp changed my life. The Surf lessons, the yoga, the meditation, the workshops, everything was exactly what I needed. I can not thank the universe enough for putting the little ad on instagram on my way, I know I was meant to be there, and I knew it from the moment it popped on my page, but I what I didn't know was that this week would change the way I think. And I have learn that the way you think dictate the way you live. All the stress and all the mess in my head has now quiet down. The camp has thought me to accept what it is, to let go of things that are out of my control and thrust that what is to come will be what is best for me. By focusing on the things I can control, the incontrollable just seam easier. Everything seems easier. What I will remember the most are the people, the connexions I made with those with whom I shared this week are truly beyond what I signed for.

Compared to what I was ought to be, I was only half awake and this week has shown me how much more life has to offer
And the experiences have shown me how to open up and share and be more myself. Have more happiness inside me and outside of me. I have been able to use my physical and mental resources to a higher limit, and broaden myself from inside and outside. The powers of my limitations have been exceeded through this week and the energy, vibrations and connections have been opened to new heights. I will take all the things I have learned and keep going and keep showing up each and every day to work on what I have learned and keep letting go of habitual trauma. The advice, let yourself be carried away!!! The first objective is to decide to enjoy, set aside doubts and fears, enhance perception, sharpen the senses. The facilities are comfortable and pleasant. Nature is the Great Protagonist!!! The days are taken advantage of from sunrise to sunset, all with different, intense, and surpassing activities!!! The surf classes in the hands of the responsible instructors deserve a separate mention!!! For those who have never tried, it transforms from something that initially seems like a practice reserved for Olympic athletes into focusing on incorporating four steps and... surfing!!! Ice baths as moving as meditations on the beach!!! The visit to the waterfall traveling on ATVs is pure adventure!!! In general, all the people living in Costa Rica offer to help with great dedication. In particular, Rox, Ev, and Daro have a touch that creates family-level connections, a lot of light there!!! The entire experience leaves an incredible emotional record!!! Without a doubt, highly recommended!!!

What happened here was such a beautiful connection, a true companionship in this wonderful group that felt like a family, but with a new kind of love that we found here.
It was so special that we exchanged WhatsApp numbers with everyone and said: 'Anything we need at any time in life, write to each other!' Sometimes, things are not coincidental, and it doesn't matter about time, distance, or physical contact. Just by the feeling and writing to each other, we will all be connected because it was beautiful, a new experience for each of us. Here, we began to live in the 'chairo' — time without time. When we need each other, we'll think about where we were: in the surf camp, with the guys, listening to the sound of the sea, the monkeys, the beach. Dennis Segura

Dennis is a surf instructor with 20 years of experience teaching the art of surfing. With a profound passion for what he does, Dennis has dedicated himself to sharing his love for the sport with countless individuals over the years. Working alongside a team of talented colleagues, he has played a pivotal role in introducing newcomers to the exhilarating world of surfing since its early days. Dennis's wealth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm make him a cherished mentor, as he guides aspiring surfers on their journey to ride the waves.

Maria Belen Mure

Belen, who has been sharing hatha yoga for eight years, has undergone a transformation on her journey, much like life itself. Her current intention, as she lives and generously shares this practice, is for participants to enjoy the movements and asanas that this discipline offers. Through the observation of the mind, listening to one's own body, and being present in one's being, the goal is to experience the infinite nature with joy and compassion both on and off the mat. Belu warmly welcomes everyone to join and share in this practice with much love.

Arístides Ruival

Arístides, a 28-year-old from Cordoba, aims to popularize ice baths, having experienced their holistic benefits. With persistence and love, he guides others to surpass self-imposed mental barriers, awakening untapped potential. He started using this practice three years ago and sharing his journey 1.5 years ago. Arístides fosters self-awareness, enabling individuals to make conscious decisions detached from routine, as they connect with their body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

Cecilia Reid

Cecilia discovered yoga in 2014 and has not stopped since. She began giving her practice in Argentina in 2016, later relocating to Costa Rica where she continues to share her traditional Hatha and Vinyasa-based sessions. Prioritizing the benefits of yoga, she focuses on adapting classes to suit participants and places a strong emphasis on conscious relaxation, incorporating essential oils for tension release. Cecilia believes in the transformative power of yoga and emphasizes Karma-Yoga – performing actions with selfless intention.

Dario Egea

Dario is a 32-year-old economist and programmer, as well as a passionate surfer. In recent years, he has devoted himself to exploring self-awareness and spiritual development, delving into the mysteries of tarot, astrology, and tantra. With a curious and wisdom-thirsty mind, Dario has found in these disciplines a path to understand himself and the world around him. If you ever look for Dario and can't find him at the surfcamp, don't hesitate to head towards the water because he's probably out there playing with the waves.

Tania Rocío Gallego

Tania, a passionate soul of surfing, followed her calling to Chile, where she discovered a ceramics workshop. In that moment, an ancient fire was reignited within her. She decided to leave behind her life of travels to fully devote herself to the art of clay. With bravery and determination, she has forged her path in the world of ceramics. Alawa, her creation, is the space where her creative spirit blossoms and where she connects with other like-minded beings. Tania has found her true expression and transforms herself and those around her through her inspiring art.
